We communicated regularly and even had video calls, which made everything seem genuine.\n\nEventually, the person introduced me to cryptocurrency investing through a website called Velxton (velxton.com), also referred to as Velxon.\n\nIt started with small amounts of money, but things escalated quickly. By the time I realized what was happening, I had lost $17,493.41.\n\nI later learned that this type of fraud is commonly known as a romance or pig butchering scam.\n\nI reported everything to the Carrollton Police Department in Texas. The detective assigned to my case did everything he could, but the investigation was eventually closed because of jurisdictional limitations.\n\nWhile examining the blockchain transactions, we identified a wallet that held approximately $2.4 million in cryptocurrency at the time. I want to be clear that we haven't established exactly how this wallet is connected to the scammers, and I'm not claiming that the entire balance is associated with fraudulent activity.\n\nThe detective also mentioned that he suspected the scammers might be operating out of Malaysia, although this hasn't been confirmed.\n\nI'm trying to find out where my money went, whether these transactions connect to other known scams, and whether there's any information that could help authorities identify those responsible.\n\nI'm especially interested in hearing from anyone who has encountered Velxton, Velxon, or velxton.com.\n\nI have transaction records, wallet addresses, screenshots, and documentation from the police investigation.\n\nI'm not looking for paid recovery services, hackers, or anyone promising to retrieve my money.
