It's food business focused and specifically does not integrate with POS systems, but we are working on some smart tools to easily manage / update inventory based on sales data, and also have tools to help you do forecasting for what raw materials you want on hand (for example, when coming in to weekends or holidays). Weekly inventory buy hand and I back up my inventory sheets with audio that I speak into while counting. Beginning inventory plus purchases minus existing inventory gets you your cost. I have used three or four different POS systems to see what we used but none were that accurate unless an accurate inventory is taken. I even talked with a programmer years ago and he had never done an inventory himself. Their Kitchen display Screen boosted orders from taking 20-25 minutes to 10-15 minutes!\n\nAs for XtraChef, real simple to use, not as easy to setup. Since you are currently using a cloud based POS, I think you might be tech savvy enough to figure it out. That’s what we want and need. The pos details are only relevant for smaller, lesser known software options, which we don’t want to experiment with. The 3 I mentioned all pull data from the pos, that’s it.
