Except it did happen to IPVanish.\n\nIPVanish said on their website they don't even keep logs but they weren't managing their own infrastructure, Highwinds was and it was Highwinds who worked with the police and showed them the logs for IPVanish's servers.\n\nIn-fact in that case the police first went to IPVanish, got stonewalled then went to Highwinds since they were the ones dealing with the infrastructure and not IPVanish. They were met with a much warmer reception.
