The Pi shares the combined connection to the Internet port on my mess, router and all 80 devices on my home network benefit from the combined connection and VPN privacy. The only drawback is sometimes I don’t notice when one of the connections goes down because the automatic fail over keeps our Internet working just at a lower total speed. To combat that, I ended up building a dashboard that can be used from a phone, iPad, or computer on the network.
