Interlake is mostly fine but your block is great, right next to the school with new build condos and a walking path into the neighborhood. Stone had more activity but still nothing serious during my tenancy. The police precinct is 3 minutes away and they often pass through the neighborhood on the way to Aurora.\n\nBecause of the condos in that block, it's helpful to have a driveway, but just for parking. My block did not have car prowl problems and we were more exposed than yours. We had one drunk driver event which was basically a pickup truck playing daytime pinball, the whole neighborhood came out to make sure there were no injuries. Also had three people get stuck in trees over 2 years lol. That was all!\n\nThe folks who tried to live in the park would leave on their own at the beginning of fall because the best spots for tents turned into mud pits. They weren't troublesome in the summer either although I recall the park bathroom was ruined before I moved there. \n\nThe neighborhood was a surprise to me and I'd recommend it. There was an organized clean up crew, occasional music in the park etc. As mentioned, from Ashworth to I-5 was the same normal, quiet and clean Seattle neighborhood you'd find elsewhere in the city.\n\nLocal amenities were mid tho, I don't know if there's a new grocery at Oak Tree yet but that would help. Several of the restaurants on Aurora were actually great (I'm still missing Manna Teriyaki), and North Gate and Green Lake are both right there.
