I run a retail business in the Little Saigon neighborhood and don’t want to be anywhere else. Personally, I prefer my neighbors around 12th and Jackson, housed and unhoused, all day over the apartment dwellers on Capitol Hill, where I live, who have their dinners delivered at 5:30 and go out mainly to visit the gym or a bar. The same type who leaves the city every weekend for recreation.\n\nI think people who move into and visit the CID should either need what it offers or want to contribute to what it offers. That’s what makes it special.
